Launch of the African School of Regulation

The African School of Regulation (ASR) officially launched during the 2023 Africa Climate Summit. The ASR will be hosted by the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) in Accra, Ghana. It will strengthen the African energy sector’s capacity in support of the African Union's Agenda 2063 goals for sustainable development on the continent.

ACBF has been granted the status of a specialized agency because of the potential to transform Africa through capacity development.

The recognition of ACBF as the African Union’s Specialized Agency for Capacity Development launches the beginning of a new era for capacity building by ACBF, which will require an appropriate level of political commitment and financial support from all stakeholders.
