In a follow-up to a strategic and technical session between teams of ACBF and the NEPEAD Agency held recently in Addis Ababa during the 29th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, teams from both institutions converged on Midrand, South Africa (home to the NEPAD Agency) to straighten out modalities for stronger collaboration between them on 14 July 2017.
Principals of both institutions (Prof Emmanuel Nnadozie of ACBF and Dr Ibrahim Assane Mayaki of the NEPAD Agency) are resolved to accompanying the African Union and continental institutions to boost development major areas such as infrastructure, natural resource management and food security and agriculture. This is happening especially in the context of current reforms to recalibrate the organizational and functional operations of the AU, streamlined to Africa’s needs.
